Jacksonville 39;s offense wasn 39;t too important, superior 18th in the conference in add u yards per game with 336.6. However, the Jaguars 39; defence came in five muscae volitantes lour in 2009 in the 23rd spot, giving up 352.3 yards per game. So, both the offense and defence needs ample work during the off mollify. Knowing the key strengths and weekness of teams is very portentous to weekly fantasise thscore vip owners.
Key Draft Picks: With six summate picks in the NFL Draft, the Jags used four of those six picks on defensive players. And with good conclude, too. With a refutation hierarchic No. 23 in the conference in sum yards allowed, stratified No. 27 in passage yards allowed with 235.9 yards per game, and ranked No. 19 in rush yards allowed with 116.4 yards, it 39;s no wonder Jacksonville used four of their six picks on defensive attitude players, and most notably, four defensive attitude linemen.
The highest rated defensive linemen the Jags picked in 2010 is DE Tyson Alualu from California. Since the Jags traded DE Quentin Groves, they requisite another DE to take his place and work with other DE Aaron Kampman as a pass rusher on passage downs. Alualu had a decently four-year at California, where he had 187 tackles, 15 sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception. The key come here is Alualu 39;s total of tackles. He should definitely help the Jags 39; poor rushing rank in 2010.
The other luminary defensive attitude standout is DT D 39;Anthony Smith out of Louisiana Tech. Smith had a career much like Alualu 39;s and his numbers racket were about the same with 196 tackles, 11 sacks, one forced grope, and one interception during his four age at Louisiana Tech. He offers the Jags a solid state pass rusher and run-stopper.
Key Free Agents: Jacksonville picked up three free agents in 2010, two of which were defensive attitude players. The Jags added DE Aaron Kampman from the Green Bay Packers to help wor their defensive attitude struggles. In his nine eld in the NFL, Kampman has wreaked mayhem on the domain with 458 tackles, 54 sacks, and 12 forced fumbles. This was an superior pickup by the Jags, as he will definitely play a role in shoring up up that porous defensive line.
The other defensive attitude participant Jacksonville came to price with is LB Freddy Keiaho the Indianapolis Colts. Keiaho has only been in the conference for five old age, and hasn 39;t done much in those five geezerhood. Since being drafted from San Diego State in 2005, Keiaho only has 245 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two unexpected fumbles, and one interception. Even though his numbers game are unsatisfactory, Keiaho shows alot of potential and will become a solid defensive participant in the near futurity.
